An error of 0.5 degrees in a 3m width of a van will show an absolute error of 52mm (5.2cm)

The precision of any electronic device is what makes the device usable or not. For instance, a phone by itself has a degree of precision of 0.5 or worse! A phone is NOT a leveler!

Device
The small SavvyLevel NZ hardware device is fixed into the van or vehicle. This device uses its own sophisticated internal mathematical algorithms under real time execution by the command of the main micro-processor.
SavvyLevel NZ reports both the pitch and roll to the user's SMART device with a precision of 0.1 degree. Each SavvyLevel NZ unit is individually thermally calibrated to maintain that precision over the full operating temperature range. SavvyLevel NZ also reports compass bearing relative to the vehicle or van in which it is placed.
After fitting of the SavvyLevel NZ a permanent reference level, that the user desires, is stored in the device. The information is reported to the SMART device using a user friendly, best practice display modelled on flight management systems.
